Another enjoyable video
@@BristolRE Thanks Pete it was a tad to warm but an enjoyable walk with the company of easy going Ken .
Nicely edited video 👍🏻
Immediately after WW2, while still in the Army, my old Dad did open licence speedway meetings with an old Douglas.
Thanks Dave all old clips of the many happy times spent wandering about .
Nice video - you really caught the great atmosphere
Ponders end park you got ya group of men with the floor with smashed beer bottles and they all smoking weed and children go there 😂😂😂😂😂
Two Miserable Old Farts who don't know how to use a phone!
John Finch..Old Knobhead!
Bit of a mixture there John, but interesting and love the steel drum
Thanks Roy , l aim to please with a bit of this and a bit of that , Lol .
Beautiful John, London's the best.
I cannot remember when we did most of that but don't you look young , Lol
Ponders end Southgate and Edmonton green, was only African irish and Bangladesh that's it, what is diversity, anyway? Demolish some houses,so they can wash their horses streets more clean, bigger cars, wider streets cars houses and bug as well, and taller people, most of the things here, aren't organic,we need to make everything more organic, again and expense these areas, like muswell hill..... make them even better, than, muswell hill
Once again John a enjoyable video, short and sweet not been to the Sth Kensington museums since my boyhood days
@@user-px7vz3wv7k Thanks Roy l always enjoy my days out with young Ken . I don’t want to remind you but none of us are getting any younger so start retracing some of your old memories while you can .
Good old Mick .
@@pjofurey6239 He’s still the same ole Alex apart from getting older like the rest of us .
@@jf4950 heard about his mishap, and he went to his daughters , love to to see the the old goat again , miss the Vincent club days , parts!
Great stuff John and Ken. I was born and raised in Oakwood and in the late 70's early 80's used to hang out with my mates under the roundel in front of the station. Such great memories of that area. And me and my best mate Kenneth used to get the Red Bus Rover ticket and visit the museums in Sth Kensington, we even watched from Hyde Park the SAS raid on the Iranian Embassy in 1980! Looks like you had a great day guys. All the best and look forwards to your next video.
@@tilerman Thanks for that so pleased our day out took you back down memory lane as though it was only yesterday , where have all the years gone ?
Nicely put together as usual John, and a great day out.
Always a great day out and joint effort Ken .
fek! Changed totally since my days 1954 - 1979 !!
Been a customer for years (MOT and servicing) Experienced friendly staff. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Another lovely walk John, not been along that stretch for years made me thing when we were kids and the horses pulling the barges then the little tractor and some times a little tugboat.
Lovely video John, shame about the weather but it was nice to see people still enjoying themselves and making the most of it.
Totally agree no irish no ponders end, Southgate, or even Edmonton green
I was there lmao
Irish people were in Southgate ponders end, Edmonton green London Enfield, John, Tottenham seven sisters, were British and ponders end, Southgate, Edmonton green,Enfield Town Only IRISH! No British British people are too prawn convoy, For ponders end South and Edmonton green, Hopefully they might come back
Boy they don't make beautiful cars with character like that anymore! That's stunning! When I saw the title I almost thought you had bought a new phone and went Android! Thanks John!
They certainly don't Linda but there are not many people over here who could afford to run the gas guzzling giants of yesteryear .
Is that a car name or a new phone John
@@walthamwalker l can tell you are not a Yank Tank enthusiast Dave , Lol .
I would say widening the streets more wide cars more tall and cutting some houses so some others, can be more wide more big..... and fixing curlew house why demolish it? Maybe the irish people, can come here if we try to clean the ambience environment pollinate not pollute, and spurse the irish people back lexical truth 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Old Boys lol Young at Heart both of you
@@walthamwalker “ Young at heart is what l like to think “ thanks Dave .

10 minutes John and you are in a different world, some people don't realize how lucky we are here.I enjoyed this video
Thanks Roy we’ve got the best of both worlds here and the reason l have never wanted to move away .
достатъчно смешно, Афганистан е много хубав, наистина ми харесва, много е хубав, хубави ресторанти, храна, атмосфера, критици, да
For some reason people from around this area love ads, they like to shop, a lot 😂😂😂😂
I found a comment here, explaining about Afghanistan, i think, I like to see that country...... you know John, you are right they keep cutting the green spaces, but we need the green spaces for pollination not pollution for composte for honey this area, has so much crime what is going on here, by the way? It's so sad I am vigilant towards my sadness for ponders end, I guess less oxygen means less breathing the breathing is revoked depleted or abolished, John it is not good for the ambience or the planet, what about swimming I love swimming in ponders end river or trenches as long as you can clean it, maybe I will take my horse on Enfield wash, just like 1989, The World was nicer back then no technology just love, prosperity, prospectous, glorious, glamorous, prompting, no ferocity temptation, domesticness, pestilence obviously we don't spurse anything we are not Allah, or jesus we are humans homogenic obviously i don't sound abstract, or distorted Most of all think about it what is your quadrant? 😁😁😁😁
Not spitting out loud gargled message, or burps of static decapitation, or even banjax inflamend, demonic vagabond harpoon scythe, but the brush gargle rinse and gargoil, aka (the truth) harvest, harpoon, silverware tapestry, harness, masonry, anvil licorice, sledgehammer morality diamond attire, peripheral, erection zenith, finito bambino, amigo muchacho, no procrastination 😂😂😂😂😂
Oh Okay 😊😅

Lovely video John, only just seen this.
Thanks Pete , a small part of the long haul you know only to well .
@@jf4950 Yes indeed
Excellent video. I really love short films like this that are just ambient sound and no voiceover. You might be interested in a channel called @BristolRE. He’s a bus driver on the 307s (and others) and lives in this area.
I was on Peters bus and had a quick chat with him at the Brimsdown terminus yesterday .
I remember Brimsdown so well. Lived on The Sunny Road until I left when I got married. Every weekend I'd regularly jump on the train at the station to go into London. I notice on Google Maps, which is two years old, the old sign is still up on Caruso's, the gents barbers, which later added a ladies hairstylists at the front. I see it's now a minimart shop of some kind. The brothers were Italian or Sicilian. I used to be dragged there to get a 'college boy' haircut. As soon as I hit 16 I grew my hair down to my shoulders ! After I'd had sex-education at school, I remember hearing the phrase "Anything for the weekend, sir ?" and noticing it for the first time (now I knew what that phrase meant !), and my dad giving me a curious look because I laughed so hard !
Thanks for the comment and reminding me some things l had forgotten , old age is a bugger , Lol .
Greenstreet, famous for the haunted house !
That’s the one Arjay “ DEAD “ opposite the school gates , sleep well and don’t have any nightmares .
Went to Brimsdown School as did my Dad The area has changed a lot Gave up the bus driving looking to go on to the railways very soon Nice video John
